Manual Chiropractic Treatment
What is a chiropractor? These are doctors that use alternative methods to treating patients. Unlike the average medical doctor, they do not rely on medicines and prescription drugs to solve the problem. They believe that every problem you experience (whether it be a headache, stomach ache, or the common cold) is caused by the poor alignment of your spine.
The most common method used to treat patients is the manual method. This means that they will lay you down on a special table and do a type of massage therapy. When you are a bystander looking in it almost makes you worry that they will snap off someone’s neck. Despite how it looks this is a great method and people feel a lot better physically and even mentally when they leave.
Chiropractor Activator
A chiropractic activator is a machine that the chiropractor will sometimes use to more easily re-align the bones in your body. This was created to replace the manual massage therapy because of how accurate it was. When the doctors are trying to realign the spine by hand they can run into problems because they are forcing the patient to move around a lot.
However, with this instrument the process is more simpler and accurate than ever before. The activator is 20 cm. long and has a rubber foot at the end of a spring tensioner. When the activator is pushed down it will release a ‘shock’ to the necessary area and adjust it properly.
